2. Certification Types

4. Certification Process
Determine Product Category: Confirm the applicable certification scheme (e.g., 1C, 2C, etc.) based on the customs code (HS Code). .
Prepare Documents: Include technical drawings, strength calculation documents, welding procedure qualification, material certificates, and test reports (e.g., pressure tests, leakage tests).
Submit application: Submit the application to an EAEU certification body (e.g., Russian GOST-R Certification Centre, Shanghai Jinghe Industrial Equipment Testing Co., Ltd.), including the application form, technical documents, and test reports.
Factory audit (if applicable): High-risk products require an audit of production equipment, quality control systems, and welding processes.
Issue certificate: Upon approval, an EAC Certificate of Conformity is issued, valid for 1–5 years, and the EAC mark must be affixed to the product.
5. Notes
Manufacturers from non-EAEU member states must designate a local representative (e.g., a Russian or Kazakhstani company) to handle certification applications and subsequent oversight.
Certificates must be registered on the EAEU official platform to ensure traceability.
