EAC Certification
Certification Nature
EAC certification is a Customs Union CU-TR certification, serving as a certificate of conformity proving that chemicals and chemical products comply with the requirements of TR EAEU 041/2017. After obtaining EAC certification, products can be freely sold and circulated in the five EAEU member states: Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia, and Kyrgyzstan.

Certification Process  
Submit Application: The applicant (must be an enterprise or entrepreneur within the Eurasian Economic Union) submits an EAC certification application for chemicals and chemical products to an authorised certification body, providing relevant information about the enterprise and products, such as enterprise basic information, product name, specifications, composition, and intended use.
Document Review: The certification body reviews the documents submitted by the applicant, which typically include product technical documents (such as product manuals, safety data sheets, etc.), test reports (if available), and quality management system documents, to confirm whether the product complies with regulatory requirements.
Sample Testing (if required): Depending on the product characteristics and regulatory requirements, the certification body may require sample testing of the chemicals and chemical products. Testing may include chemical composition analysis, physical property testing, toxicity testing, etc., to ensure product safety and quality.  
On-site Audit (Optional): In some cases, the certification body may conduct an on-site audit of the manufacturing facility to assess whether the company's production processes, quality control systems, safety management measures, etc., comply with regulatory requirements.  
Certificate Issuance: If the document review, sample testing (if applicable), and on-site audit (if applicable) are all passed, the certification body will issue an EAC certification certificate. The certificate will specify product information, certification validity period, and other details.  
SGR Registration Certificate  
Registration Necessity  
The SGR (State Registration in the EAEU) registration certificate is another important document for the legal sale of chemicals and chemical products in the EAEU member states. For certain specific chemicals and chemical products, in addition to obtaining EAC certification, SGR registration is also required.

Registration Process

The registration certificate has a specific validity period, during which the product may be legally sold in the markets of the Union member states.
