Type 2: Mandatory GOST R DoC — Declaration of Conformity (Medium-low risk goods)
No third-party full certification audit; the Russian local importer self-declares compliance and registers the document in the national FGIS database with valid Russian lab test reports.
Zero factory audit at any stage; the Russian applicant bears 100% legal liability for non-compliance.
Valid period: 1 / 3 years.
Limitation: Accepted for customs clearance only; rarely recognized for large government tenders compared with CoC.

Type 3: Voluntary GOST R Certificate
