Application for certification

The applicant sends to the certification body an application for certification of products with the necessary technical documents for the product, in accordance with the requirements of technical regulations and certification scheme.

Laboratory testing

After the certification body has checked the technical documents, the applicant sends its products (usually a sufficient number of one standard sample) to an accredited testing laboratory - at its own discretion or on the recommendation of the CB.

At the end of the tests the certification test report is drawn up in three copies: one copy remains in the laboratory, the second copy is with the applicant, the third copy is given to the certification body.

The applicant keeps the test report for at least 10 years.

Analysis of production

If the certificate is issued for serial production, the certification body analyses the production. This is done by visiting the manufacturing plant and analysing the documents on the quality management system.

When certifying a batch of products, no production analysis is performed.

Issuance of the certificate

In case of positive results of certification tests and a positive act of production analysis, the certification body assigns a registration number to the certificate by entering information about the certificate in the Unified Register of Certificates of the Customs Union, and issues a certificate on the form.
