Certificate of Conformity of the EAEU (CU)

WHAT IS THE EAEU CONFORMITY CERTIFICATE (CU)Certificate of conformity is a document issued by a certification body (a party independent from the manufacturer and the consumer of the object of certification) and confirming compliance of the object of certification with the established requirements.

The Eurasian Economic Union (hereinafter EAEU) is an international organization of regional economic integration with international legal personality, which currently consists of the following states - the Russian Federation, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Armenia and the Kyrgyz Republic.

The main rules and principles of the EAEU, including the issues of conformity assessment and verification, are established by the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union.

In this case we are talking about certificates of conformity to the requirements of the technical regulations of the EAEU (CU). Certificates issued in any of the EAEU (CU) member states are valid throughout the EAEU (CU).

Accredited certification bodies included in the Unified Register of Certification Bodies and Testing Laboratories (Centres) of the Customs Union have the right to issue EAEC (CU) compliance certificates. The register is available at: http://www.eurasiancommission.org/ru/docs/Pages/IL_OS.aspx.
