WHAT DOES THE CONFORMITY DECLARATION OF THE EEU (CU)A declaration of conformity is a document drawn up by the applicant (first party, directly by the manufacturer/representative of the foreign manufacturer) confirming the conformity of the declaration object with the established requirements.

The difference between the declaration and certificate of conformity

The main difference between the Declaration of Conformity and the Certificate of Conformity is the method of execution and responsibility. The Declaration of Conformity (in most cases) is drawn up by the manufacturer of the product itself and is its responsibility.

Features of the Declaration of Conformity

The Declaration of Conformity is equivalent to a certificate of conformity in terms of its effect on the territory of the EEC. The declaration drawn up in any of the EAEU (CU) member states is valid throughout the EAEU (CU) territory.

The fact that in Russia on January 1, 2021 the registration of the Declaration of Conformity has been terminated by most certification bodies does not mean that we will not be able to help you. The process of registration of the Declaration of Conformity may cause some difficulties, plus the responsibility for drawing up the Declaration lies entirely with the Applicant!
